Planning to post more

We know where good intentions are supposed to lead us, but I intend to post here more often. Instead of waiting to writer something big, I'm just going to write whatever little things the kids are up to.

Luke has a cold, and had to miss school this Friday. He's doing much better now.

Nicholas, for his part, is now calling Luke "Lukey." Not sure where he got that.

Luke and I went to Cool Science today at Colorado College, an event with lots of science demonstrations and hands-on exhibits to play with. In this photo, he's floating a ping pong ball over a hair dryer, illustrating the Bernoulli effect.

I posted a few photos to Flickr last night of our trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science in early January. We still have a bit of a photo backlog; I'll try and get more up later this week.

If she don't scare ya...

A month or so ago, Luke had a minor fascination with 101 Dalmations, especially the villian, Cruella DeVille. He watched the original animated movie and the updated, live action film (with Glenn Close as Cruella) several times, favoring scenes that featured her.

At one point we had the following conversation:

Luke: If I saw Cruella DeVille in real life, I would call her a stupid poo-poo head!

Steve: Well, that isn't very nice, but I guess she deserves it.

Luke: And then I would get a gun and I would shoot her.

Steve: ... No. That's never a good idea.
